What Peter Obi Told A Journalist Who Asked Him About The $150 Million Nigerian Diasporas Funding

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour party was asked by a Channels Television journalist about his trip to other countries of the world to meet Nigerian diasporas over there. He said that he went there to talk to them about how important they are to the politics of Nigeria. He also said that the diasporas are also Nigerians like us, they have to get involved in Nigerian politics too.

This is one of the things he went there to let them know, he also told them how they would help in the development of Nigeria. The diasporas over there need us the way we need them and they have to be taught on how to belong to the politics of Nigeria.

The journalist also asked him about the 150 million dollar fund that the diasporas are raising for him to support his campaign. Peter Obi replied by saying that nobody has given him any money, and he also said that the money isn’t to be given to him.

The money is to be given to Nigerians to help them take back their country, the fund being raised is for the betterment of Nigerians who want a better Nigeria and not for him, but for now, nobody has given him any money Peter Obi said.
