The otherwise peaceful but business bustling town of Uromi, was yesterday, the 24th of February, 2022, thrown into panic as a group of daredevil robbers, staged an operation that lasted 2 hours according to reliable sources.
The question in the lips of many Uromi and indeed, Edo residents are, where was the Nigerian police? what happened to modern tools of information? If it was possible for the robbers to take out the entire Uromi police command as being rumoured, then, where was Irrua and Ekpoma commands? Given the duration the robbery lasted, it would have been possible for the state command located in Benin to mobilize and respond appropriately. Alas, non of such happened.
