APC Chieftain, Gen. Cecil Esekhaigbe Felicitates With Christians And Nigerians At Easter.

One of Edo APC leaders, has felicitated with Christians on the occasion of this year’s Easter celebration.

In his congratulatory message, Gen Cecil Esekhaigbe urged Christians to reflect on the significance of the Easter celebration.

Esekhaigbe urged Nigerians irrespective of their Faiths and backgrounds to use the Easter period to promote acts that can unite the country.

According to him, Christians should emulate the virtues of Jesus Christ as demonstrated by the Son of God during his Earthly sojourn.

He noted that, Jesus Christ paid the Supreme prize to save us from destruction when He died on the Cross of Calvary and rose again on the third day to redeem mankind

The party stalwart described Easter as a special celebration that requires prayer, humility, dedication,sober reflection, and service as taught by Jesus Christ in the Holy Bible.

Gen Cecil Esekhaigbe assured APC in the state and of course, Edolites in general, of his commitment to always represent their interest at all times.

He called on Nigerians to continue to support the APC led administration to deliver on their electioneering campaign promises.

The Retired General enjoined Christians to show love, compassion, and selflessness towards one another to build a peaceful and prosperous state and country.

He maintained that this year has brought together the sacred days of the great Abrahamic Religions as Christians commemorate the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ and Muslims on the other hand observing the Holy Month of Ramadan which reminded Nigerians that though they might be of different Faiths, but yet, are of one Family serving God for a peaceful and better Society.
