The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially announced the dates for the crucial Women’s Olympic Football Tournament final qualifying fixture between Nigeria’s Super Falcons and South Africa’s Banyana Banyana.
The first leg of the encounter will take place at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on Friday, 5th April, with kickoff set for 4pm. Algerian referee Ghada Mehat will officiate the match, supported by assistant referees and other officials.
For the return leg scheduled in South Africa on Tuesday, 9th April, Tunisian official Dorsaf Ganouati will be the referee. The match will determine which team advances to join 15 other senior women’s teams from across the world for the Women’s Olympic Football Tournament, commencing in Paris on 16th July.
The upcoming fixtures follow Nigeria’s victory over Cameroon’s Indomitable Lionesses and South Africa’s triumph against Tanzania to reach this crucial stage of the qualifiers.
