Putin says Russia have not lost anything in Ukraine War

[ad_1]

Almost seven months into his invasion of Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated on Wednesday that his country has suffered no losses as a result of the conflict with the West.

Putin, instead, said in a belligerent address at the Eastern Economic Forum in the Russian Pacific city of Vladivostok that Russia is gaining power on the world arena and that the war in Ukraine is establishing a new geopolitical trajectory in which the West will collapse and Asia will rise to take the future.

According to a translation provided on the Kremlin website, Putin stated that “the entire structure of international relations has just experienced irreversible…tectonic upheavals.”

“The Western countries wish to retain yesterday’s international order that favors them and force everyone to abide by the awful ‘rules’ that they devised.”

These are the final days, Putin said that the Asia-Pacific region is developing as a new hub of economic and technical growth, drawing people resources, capital, and industry.

Despite Western sanctions, Putin sees the “special military operation” in Ukraine as a watershed moment in Russian history, when the nation can finally shake off the humiliation of the Soviet Union’s demise and reclaim its primacy by rising alongside Asia.
