Chelsea’s next two league games that could see them suffer back to back defeats in the EPL

Chelsea Vs Fulham

Date: Sat 10 September, 2022

Venue: Craven Cottage, London

Chelsea have not been good defensively this season and the back three system have not quite yielded good results. Chelsea struggled to defeat West Ham United by 2 goals to 1 on match day 6 and their next league game is against Fulham as they look to make it two wins from two matches.

Fulham are a decent side and despite being one of the newly promoted sides, they have performed well against three of the so called top six in the league. Marco Silva’s side held Liverpool to a 2:2 draw at home and they were narrowly defeated in their away fixtures against Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

Fulham will fancy their chances of defeating Thomas Tuchel’s side at the Craven Cottage with Aleksandar Mitrovic – who has scored six league goals this season, leading their line.

Chelsea Vs Liverpool

Date: Sun 18 September, 2022

Venue: Stamford Bridge

Liverpool have also struggled to find their rhythm since the start of the 2022/23 Premier League campaign but they are still a tough side to reckon with.

Chelsea’s last two league games against Jurgen Klopp’s side ended in a draw, but the Reds will be pushing to secure all three points at Stamford Bridge and the Blues will have to step up their game to contain the threats of Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah in the final third.
