Three children have been reported dead in a building collapse at Jigawar Tsada village in Dutse Local Government Area of Jigawa State.
The incident happened on Thursday night, September 8, as a result of a heavy downpour.
The children were sleeping when the building collapsed and all of the victims died on the spot.
The bodies of the girls were immediately removed from the rubbles and they were rushed to General Hospital Dutse.
Sadly, all three girls were confirmed dead by a medical doctor.
The deceased include Farida Idi, 6, Mariya Idi, 3, and Bilkisu Yahaya, 18 months old.
Their corpses were released to their relatives for burial according to Islamic rite.
