From Samuel Ortom To President Buhari: You Lack Capacity, Hand Over To Your Deputy.

Samuel Ortom, the executive governor of Benue State has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to hand over to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, saying that, from all indications, the president lacks the capacity to rescue the country from the worsening economic and security predicaments confronting the nation.

The Governor spoke yesterday while having a conversation with newsmen in Makurdi the capital of Benue state. He posited: “Since the inception of our country Nigeria, even before the independence we have never witnessed this kind of nepotism that is going on in our country.

We have never witnessed this level of disunity in our country. We have never seen this level of insecurity and we have never seen this kind of economic downturn the way we have it today. He opined that, as a grassroot politician he is in touch with the people and knows how they feel. He is sad over the fact that, those around the President won’t allow him have a better appreciation of the reality on ground as it relates to high level of insecurity.
