“I’m Proud of My Past” – Dino Melaye Says After Femi Fani Shared A Photo of Him Drinking Garri

Nigerian former Senator, Dino Melaye has reacted to an old picture of him drinking garri which was posted by the former minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode.

The news was shared by Linda Ikeji Blog Official on September 8, 2022.

If you recall, Femi took to his social media platform on Thursday and mocked Melaye by showing a picture from his past. 

Femi also alleged that the spokesperson for the Atiku Abubakar Campaign Organisation, Dino Melaye was once struggling.

Recently, Melaye replied to the allegations made by ex-Minister FFK.

In the post, he noted that he first posted the photo of him drinking garri some years ago because he liked the food.

According to him, at the time he was already a member of the house of representatives.

He wrote: “I have never hidden the fact that I’m from a poor background.”

The Kogi state-born politician also mentioned that he’s not ashamed of his struggles. In his words “I am proud of my past”.

He proudly listed his achievements, which includes winning 3 national elections and owning some properties.

The exchange of words between Dino Melaye and Femi Fani-Kayode is reportedly as a result of the crisis rocking the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
