Can you imagine this? This is Nigeria in the 21st century with a brazen level of Impunity by a government official and with active support by the Nigerian police force.

This was said to have happened on election day in Kogi State and the man at the center of this criminal act, is said to be a local government chairman.

Here in this video, he is brazenly tempering with the will of the people, by destroying ballot papers that do not have the tomb prints of voters on his preferred party and candidate.

In other climes, this man ought to be sitting pretty in jail by now. Unfortunately, this is Nigeria where just about anything goes…
