Peter Obi Of Labour Party, Rode Triumphantly Into Benin City On A Thank You Tour And Unveiling Of House Of Assembly Contestants.

Ahead Of the Edo State House Of Assembly Election, the Candidate of Labour Party in the just concluded Presidential election, Mr Peter Obi  visited Benin City on a thank you tour and used the opportunity to unveil Hon Orobosa Osaigbovo as the Labour Party Candidate for Orhionmwon South Constituency in the upcoming Edo State House of Assembly election, slated for March 18, 2023.

The event which took place at Stevik Event Center, in Benin City, Edo State capital, saw the presence of the National Chairman of the Labour Party, Comrade Julius Abure, Edo State Labour Party Chairman, Comrade Lucky Ogbaloi, among others.

While presenting Hon Orobosa Osaigbovo as the Standard Flag-bearer of the Labour Party for Edo State House of Assembly, Orhionmwon South Constituency, Mr Peter Obi thanked Orhionmwon people for the massive votes churned out for him and the Labour Party in the last presidential election.

Mr Peter Obi therefore, charged the people of Orhionmwon South and Obidient voters to replicate the voting pattern earlier exhibited and vote massively for Hon Orobosa Osaigbovo on Saturday March 18, stressing that, Hon Orobosa Osaigbovo has the capacity to transform his Constituency.

On his part, the home based Candidate, Hon Orobosa Osaigbovo appreciated the Incoming President, Mr Peter Obi for finding time despite his busy schedule to paid a thank you visit to Edo people as well as to unveil Labour Party Candidates for the Edo State House of Assembly election.

Speaking further, Hon Orobosa Osaigbovo thanked the Labour Party National Chairman, Comrade Julius Abure, Edo State Labour Party Chairman, Lucky Ogbaloi and all the Labour Party Executives for the smooth running of the party affairs, assuring them of  victory in next week’s poll.
