Nollywood Loses Actor, Leo Mezie After Long Battle With Kidney Disease.

Reports reaching TrendyNews says that, popular Nollywood actor, Leo Mezei has passed away in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, after a long battle with kidney disease.

The actor, who had been battling Kidney disease, was said to have died on Saturday, May 14, due to complications he developed after a kidney transplant last week.

A colleague of his, Chioma Toplis  announced his passing on her Instagram page saying, Mezie’s corpse has been moved to his hometown in Umahia, Abia State.

She wrote: “Actor Leo Mezie is dead. He died on Saturday in Abuja while recovering from a kidney transplant. His corpse has been moved to Umuahia his hometown. RIP Leo.”
