Today’s Headlines: Buhari Told To Sack Ngige & Ehanire, Atiku Will Provide Good Governance

The president of the federal republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, has been asked by members of the Human Right Writers Association of Nigeria, HURIWA, to dismiss the Minister of Health, Mr. Osagie Ehanire, and his counterpart, the Minister of Labour, Chris Ngige, for failing to control the mass exodus of Nigerian doctors, due to the unfavourable condition of the current regime.

This statement was made on behalf of the group by the National Coordinator, Emmanuel Onwubike, who spoke on behalf of both the Minister of Labour and that of Health. According to him, the poor management of resources is affecting the country.

He further called out the Minister of Education, Mr. Adamu Adamu, for failing to make any progress with the ongoing strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities.

Atiku Will Provide Good Governance For Nigerians – Spokesman

The Spokesman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Charles Aniagwu, said the flag bearer of its party is not in the race to become the next president of Nigeria, but to provide Nigeria with the right leadership it deserves.

Speaking about the next general election, he further added that Atiku Abubakar and his running mate, Ifeanyi Okowa, are the best options for good governance in Nigeria. He said his party flag bearers are more than ready to provide good governance.

Nigerian Troops Arrest Boko Haram Informant In Abuja

The Nigerian Military reports that, through the help of their defense headquarters, they have been able to apprehend an informant working with the Boko Haram terrorist group.

According to information made available by Defence Headquarters, the name of the informant apprehended is Mamuda Usman. He was captured in the Asokoro area of Abuja.

The suspect, Maj. Gen. Musa Danmadami, said the suspected informant works as an errand man for a top Boko Haram commander in Kaduna.
