A former Ekiti Governor, Ayo Fayose, has declared that he is with Rivers Governor, Nyesom Wike, in his fight for justice, equity and fairness in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Fayose said those asking the PDP’s Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to call the bluff of Wike and his group were the real enemies of the party.

Former President Goodluck Jonathan, Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and Bola Tinubu have paid respects to Queen Elizabeth II, who passed on Thursday afternoon.

People Gazette reported that the longest-serving British monarch died in Balmoral, Scotland.

In a thread of tweets on Thursday, Mr Jonathan described the late monarch as a “well-loved sovereign with a strong sense of duty and service, a champion of social change and a protagonist of modern Britain.”

The Sokoto State Governor, Waziri Tambuwal, has denied resigning from his position as Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Governors Forum.

Tambuwal was a PDP presidential aspirant before his withdrawal for the eventual winner of the party’s ticket, Atiku Abubakar, during the party’s primary.

7749 Nasarawa Farmers Benefit From FG’s Debt Programme

In order to ensure food sufficiency in Nasarawa State, the Federal Government of Nigeria, in collaboration with the International Fund for Agricultural Development, has empowered no fewer than 7,749 rice and cassava farmers in five Local Government Areas of the state with farm products and equipment through the Value Chain Development Programme.

The five benefitting LGAs include Lafia, Doma, Wamba, Karu and Nasarawa.
