Tragic Suicide: Mother of Three Ends Life in Front of Police Station, Leaves Behind Orphaned Children
In a heartbreaking turn of events, an unidentified mother of three young children has reportedly taken her own life in Enugu state. The tragic incident occurred last weekend in front of Ogui Police Station.
According to reports, the woman’s actions were spurred by her husband’s departure from the family due to financial difficulties. Struggling with depression, she left her three children at the police station before running into a moving vehicle, resulting in her untimely death.
The eldest child, unable to provide further details about their family, revealed that their father was “lost”. With their identities and residential information unknown, the children found themselves in the care of the police.
Moved by the distressing circumstances, the wife of the Enugu State governor, Mrs. Nkechinyere Mbah, announced her sponsorship of a scholarship for the orphaned siblings. During her visit to the Ogui Police Station, Mrs. Mbah pledged to support the children’s education from Nursery school to University level, offering hope for their future amidst tragedy.
