‘We’ve not formally released our manifesto’, Obi clarifies LP campaign document in circulation

Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) nominee for president, downplayed the unofficial nature of the manifesto that has been making the rounds on social media.
On Monday, Obi clarified the situation in a tweet.
The former governor of Anambra State published a 48-page manifesto, which was widely disseminated.
The “Our Pact with Nigeria” document was structured around seven fundamental goals for security, the economy, and other factors.
However, Obi said he would personally present a final and official copy of the document.
He wrote: “We have not formally released our Manifesto. I will do so personally. It seems an earlier draft copy under review has made its way into the public space. Until I release the approved and final draft, please disregard what is being circulated.”
