Wife Of Kogi Gov., Rashida Bello, Captured On Video Dishing Out Millions Of Naira To Security Men. 

Late Thursday night, a video went viral, where the wife of the sitting governor of Kogi state, was seen handing over bundles of Naira notes to a group of security operatives.

What could have warranted that level of gesture is not immediately known, as no speech was delivered before and after the exercise. However, one could see how profoundly happy the recipients of the gesture were, given the manners they saluted the first lady in military fashion. There after, some jumped high to ceiling level, while others embraced one another in a display of joy.

This is exactly not the news. To the people of Kogi state, especially the civil servants who are owed several months of salaries, this is simply an evil gesture. Where could be the source of this money, when the governor, Yahaya Bello can’t pay salaries to civil servants? Besides, what is the size of statutory budget to the office of the first lady, if any?

If the office of the first lady has so much money to play with, a reasonable wife would have come to the rescue of a beloved husband, to assist with settlement of backlog of salaries and allowances, than leave him to face daily embarrassment from the People of Kogi state. Just thinking allowed, though!
