“Central Bank Governor Denies Responsibility for Economic Woes, Vows to Forge Solutions”

During his inaugural Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting, Olayemi Cardoso, the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), asserted that he and his team cannot be held accountable for the current economic challenges plaguing the nation.

Addressing concerns, Cardoso emphasized that the CBN is actively implementing measures to restore both fiscal and monetary stability to Nigeria’s economy. He stressed the importance of understanding the complexities of the situation and the necessity of concerted efforts to address it.
