While reacting to the arrest on his official Facebook page, he expressed dismay over the incident and further lamented over the manner at which the Nigeria Police Force dealt with citizens.
In quote, he said: ” So Ice Prince is still in detention for allegedly assaulting a police officer which I do not even believe happened. In Nigeria, the police will slap you like ten (10) times and if you react, the oppressor will arrest you and become the judge, jury and executioner. Nigerians are assaulted everyday”.
