Hausa-born Salihu Dantata Mahmood has revealed the positive impacts fuji music of late Sikiru Ayinde Barrister had in his life.
He told BBC News Yoruba that he fell in love with the fuji music of Ibadan-born talented artist, Dr. Sikiru Ayinde Barrister since his formative years.

Dantata said through the music he learned how to speak Yoruba Language fluently and make notable proverbs in Yoruba.
He attributed that late Dr. Sikiru Ayinde Barrister’s music is full of wisdom useful for daily living and live an impactful life. He stressed that his style of fuji music promote ethnic and tribal differences among Nigerians.
He added that people were surprised the way he sang fuji tracks credited to late Barrister at former Lagos State Governor, Alhaji Lateef Jakande’s burial.
He said Federal Government need to immortalise late Sikiru Ayinde Barrister for his role in entertainment industry.
He applauded Oyo State House of Assembly for its brave move on how to immortalise late fuji king in Nigeria.
