The Chinese Business Community Association of Nigeria has condemned the alleged killing of Ummul-Kulthum Buhari by her Chinese lover, Geng Quanrong.
The association under the leadership of Wakilin Mutanen China a Kano, Mike Zhang, in a statement signed by Wakili’s personal assistant, Guang Lei Zhang, on Monday, condemned the killing.
The statement also said a criminal act should be allowed to be professionally handled by relevant security agencies.
“The Chinese community in Kano is fully in support of the law taking its proper course,” the statement read.
The association also appreciated the hospitality extended to members of the Chinese Community in Kano, adding that Chinese nationals would continue to be law abiding, friendly and contribute to the development of Kano.
In the statement, the community also condoled with the family of the deceased.
Recall that Quanrong, 47, of Nassarawa GRA Quarters, Kano State, went to the residence of Ummul-Kulthum, 22, and allegedly stabbed her to death.
