FALLOUT OF RUSSIAN AGGRESSION IN UKRAINE : MASS BURIAL CARRIED OUT IN MARIUPOL

Dead bodies of Ukrainian soldiers and civilians alike, resulting from the massive bombardment of the port city of Mariupol by Russian forces are being buried in a mass grave.

Following the southern Ukrainian city under intensive and steady attack, officials had been waiting for an opportunity to allow individual burials to resume.

However, this can not be as morgues are overflowing with bodies and with more on their way. Therefore, officials decided to act speedily.

A deep trench of about 25 meters long has been dug in a cemetery in the heart of the city.
