The presidential candidate of the Labour Party for the 2023 general election has reacted to the 80th birthday of Chief Dr Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu.
The former governor of Anambra State said that he is deeply honoured to celebrate a highly respected leader and nationalist, Chief Dr Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, as he marks his 80th birthday.
Mr Peter Obi went further to say that his admiration for, and relationship with him dates back in time and that he is very appreciative of the noble lessons of life that he has so far garnered from him.
Peter Obi said that Chief Iwuanyanwu is a patriotic leader and respected business mogul, under whose tutelage many accomplished men attained success in the areas of sports, business, journalism, politics and corporate leadership.
Obi said that his great contributions to our development are demonstrable in many ways; including his unmatched advocacy for free enterprise and a production-based economy.
Obi concluded by saying that may God continue to protect, bless and keep him in good health of mind and body, and give him the grace to continue to impact positively on the nation.
