Nigerian billionaire, Femi Otedola has over the years amassed an impressive collection of expensive possessions. He is one of those billionaires who has been criticised for his constant vacations. The vacations and luxury trips are a testament to the fact that Otedola has eyes for expensive items.
Otedola once said, “I own quite a lot and I have worked very hard for it. The harder you work, the luckier you get.” Despite his hard work mantra, the African billionaire makes out time to enjoy himself. From the 99.13-meter-long Yacht, he rented for $3 million to celebrate his 60th birth anniversary to the millions used to acquire three Ferraris for his daughters, Otedola lives a coded lavish life. As we go further, we will highlight some of the expensive things attached to his name.
Otedola’s Dubai and Monaco Home
It is no longer news that billionaires own luxurious homes, however, Otedola’s Dubai and Monaco homes are properties that stand out. Starting with his Dubai home, Otedola shared photos of himself in his Dubai home, when he was visited by his daughter, Temi and her fiance, Mr Eazi. Describing the house, Mr Eazi said, “My Oga your house na Palazo!!!!!!!! Triple Tuale Sir.” His daughter, DJCuppy, also wrote, “Is this a house or a museum?” Mr Eazi and DJCuppy’s comment says a lot about the features of the house.
Otedola’s Monaco home is another beauty to behold. DJCuppy gave us a glimpse of the house when she flew to Monaco to write her University Thesis. Sharing photos, she wrote, “I told @FemiOtedola that my Uni Thesis would be MUCH better written at his house in Monaco. He agreed LMAO.” Asides from his Dubai and Monaco homes, Otedola also has properties across Nigeria and in London.
Mercedes SLR McLaren
Moving away from his luxurious properties, Otedola’s garage is another good place to find expensive things. One such is his Mercedes SLR McLaren. With an estimated cost of $500 000, the Mercedes-Benz SLR Mclaren was jointly produced by the McLaren Group and Mercedes-Benz. Some of its significant features include a 5.4L Supercharged V8 engine, five-speed automatic transmission and a top speed of 208 mph.
In a post, Otedola’s daughter, DJCuppy shared photos of her sitting on the car with the caption, “25 sitting on 250 mill!” Otedola who commented on the post, said “Ifemi you seem to want this car? I can sell it to you.”
A Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII
Another expensive item in Otedola’s cubicle is his Rolls-Royce Phantom. Known as one of the most exclusive automobiles in the world, his Rolls-Royce Phantom VII has iconic suicide doors and a Starlight Headliner that lightens up the interior when it gets dark. His Rolls-Royce which was spotted on the street of London has a customised plate with the initials “IFO” The car was given to him by his daughter, Cuppy.
M/Y Nana Yacht
Otedola’s properties and fleet of cars can be grouped in the first category of the Billionaire’s list of expensive items. Opening the second category will be his M/Y Nana Yacht. Described as a 108-motor yacht, Nana was built with a 32.91 meter and a beam of 6.3 meters.
With a draft of 1.2 meters and a volume of 142 GT, Nana can accommodate eight people and a four-man crew. The supercruise boat is powered by three MTU engines that propel the yacht to a cruising speed of 28 knots and a top speed of 42 knots.
Bombardier Global Express XRS private jet
Last on my list will be Otedola’s Bombardier Global Express XRS private jet. His jet is a long-range business jet that can fly for 12 hours without refuelling. It has a luxurious and spacious cabin, which accommodates up to 12 passengers. Bombardier Global Express XRS is equipped well-furnished and consisting of state-of-the-art communication and entertainment systems. It also has advanced safety features which include a collision avoidance system, a terrain warning system, and a weather radar system.
