Hilda Baci, the holder of a Guinness World Record, recently shared that she made attempts to participate in the Big Brother Naija show in order to promote her Cook-a-thon event.
During an appearance on The Big Friday Show, a radio program hosted by former BBNaija contestant Tacha, Baci disclosed, “I made several attempts to join the Big Brother Naija show, approximately four or five times. At that point, the cook-a-thon initiative was still in the planning stages, and my intention was to enter the Big Brother house and subsequently use the platform to promote the cook-a-thon.”
However, divine intervention seemed to play a role as she reflected, “Yet, it seems that destiny had other plans. It’s almost as if God recognized that my focus needed to shift solely towards the cook-a-thon venture, as it demanded a significant portion of my dedication.”
In her remarkable cook-a-thon achievement, Hilda prepared more than 100 pots of food, surpassing the prior record of 87 hours and 45 minutes established by Lata Tondon of India in 2019.
