In a shocking incident that has rocked social media, reports emerged of a father, identified as Marcel Udeh, allegedly fatally shooting his teenage son over a dispute about food at their residence in Eziama Lokpaukwu village, Abia State.
According to sources, upon returning home, Udeh discovered that his son had consumed the remaining food without permission. Enraged by this, he reportedly retrieved a firearm from his room and tragically shot his son, resulting in the teenager’s immediate demise.
A disturbing video circulating online depicts Udeh, his hands bound, kneeling beside his son’s lifeless body, prompting widespread outcry and condemnation.
Confirming the incident, the State Police Command spokesperson, ASP Maureen Chinaka, stated that Udeh has been apprehended and the case transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for thorough investigation. Charges are expected to follow once investigations are concluded, Chinaka added.
