Photos: Gov Wike Extends Rivers State University To Etche Local Government Area

An extension of the RIVERS STATE UNIVERSITY, started from scratch and completed by Gov Wike. This is Wike‘s standard ( perfection and excellence).

By this development, Governor Wike is gradually opening up new cities, as Etche is now opened to new opportunities and investors, where the economic activities of this immediate locality will appreciate to a reasonable level.

It is noteworthy to note that, the establishment of the New Campuses of the Rivers State University in 3 major Local Government areas of the State, ETCHE LGA, EMOHUA, LGA, AHOADA (Orashi Region) is part of Governor Wike’s Urbanization of the Rural areas in the State.

As an administration, the honest truth is that, Wike can’t fix it all, giving the paucity of funds and time factor but What he has promised is to leave Rivers State better than the way he met it, and that is what he is doing.

Notable Features Spotted In The New Campus

Each of the hostel room has a space for beds and four reading tables as provided by the Rivers State government, and each student is entitled to one bathroom/toilet each.

Rivers State University, under the administration of Prof. Nlerum Okogbule (VC), is set to commission her RSU Etche campus on the 6th of September, 2022.

The students of the affected departments are extremely happy as they have for long fantasized moving to Etche as that would usher them to a new environment and new learning experience.

Some of them said they have been nursing the idea of farming and schooling. This is a great step by the master planer governor to make that dream come through.

In one voice, they are saying His Excellency, Nyesom Ezebunwo Wike, Thank you. It is now clear that the Rivers State governor is not just focused on developing Obio/Akpor and Port Harcourt local government areas only as people claim.
