Senator Dino Melaye expressed deep concern and sorrow after a classroom collapsed, trapping schoolchildren in northern Nigeria.

In a video circulating online, rescuers are seen frantically working to remove debris and free the trapped children. One rescued child, covered in dust, cries out for their classmates.

Melaye took to social media to express his shock and called for forgiveness, labeling the incident as unimaginable, unacceptable, and unpardonable.
