In recent reports, the longest reigning monarch, Queen Elizabeth, died at the age of 96 on Thursday afternoon after health complications.

The news came after she was rushed to Balmoral on Thursday over her health concerns.

Reports also have it that the Queen’s children and their wives are at Balmoral. Their names are Prince Charles, his wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall; Princess Anne; Prince Andrew, Duke of York; and Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex; as well as Edward’s wife, Sophie, Countess of Wessex; and Charles’ two sons, Prince William, Duke of Cambridge; and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex; along with Harry’s wife, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.

Since 1952, Elizabeth II has ruled 53 Commonwealth nations, served as a mechanic during World War II, discussed politics with 15 prime ministers and 13 US administrations, and welcomed eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

On April 9, 2021, her late husband, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, passed away. In British history, he was the consort who served the longest.
