SS1 student stabbed to death by her neighbour in Abuja
A 19-year-old secondary school student, residing in Kubwa town in the FCT, has been stabbed to death, allegedly by her co-tenant.
The deceased has been identified as Salma Yunusa, from Ajagwumu in Dekina LGA, Kogi State.
She was said to be living under the care of her elder sister, one Bilikisu Yunusa, around Byazhin area in Abuja when she was allegedly stabbed by her neighbour named Immaculate Chukwudi
According to reports, the stabbing happened during an argument over hanging clothes on a rope.
Immaculate allegedly confessed to the police and is now in custody.
A video of the aftermath, seen by LIB, shows the victim lying lifeless on a gurney while people cried around her.
The FCT police command’s spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, confirmed the incident, adding that the matter was still being investigated and the suspect would soon be charged to court
