The Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC, has vowed to preserve Nigerians’ right to vote in the upcoming general elections, declaring that the days of blatant election result tampering are ended.
At the introduction of Yiaga Africa’s Election Result Analysis Dashboard, or ERAD, Report on Electronic Transmission of Results in the 2022 Ekiti and Osun Governorship Election in Abuja on Friday, INEC Chairman Prof. Mahmood Yakubu made the commitment.

Amotekun says Ekiti among safest states

The Brigadier General of the Ekiti State Amotekun Corps Joe Komolafe (retd) has asked well-intentioned citizens of the state and the diaspora to increase their investments in the security organization in order to reduce crime in the state.
Residents of Ekiti were given the responsibility of exposing criminal elements in the community by Komolafe, who claimed that the state was still among the safest in the nation.

Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi ha said this is the right time for him to become the next president of the Nigeria Football Federation.
He said he has the managerial skill set to lead the apex football authority in the country.
Barrister Akinwunmi is making a promise and speaking peace to the football fraternity ahead of the NFF election.
He said the circumstance that had hitherto seemed insurmountable in Nigerian football will be a thing of the past.
20 burnt to death in fatal vehicles collision in Oyo

No fewer than 20 passengers were burnt to death on Friday in an accident that occured at Maya/Lanlate Junction in Ibarapa East Local Government area of Oyo State.
The incident involved a commercial bus and a Sienna car.
The two vehicles were travelling in opposite directions when they had head-on collision following which the vehicles caught fire immediately.
A witness said that 20 passengers involved in the incident were burnt beyond recognition.
Ex-Nollywood Star, Grace Agbo, Now A Firefighter

Ex-Nollywood star Grace Oyifie Agbo is now a firefighter in the Federal Capital territory (FCT) of Abuja. The ex-actress announced the promotion recently on Instagram congratulating herself.
Agbo who has featured in movies as Black Out, Mr Potosky, Lost Pride, Deadly Desire, Palace of Sorrow, Ada-Ide-Ichaka, Haunted Palace, Village Don, The Calabash among others made the switch from the screens to the red firetrucks in 2018.
