On the 6th of September, the Federal Government had a series of meeting with Vice Chancellors and Pro-Chancellors. And during the meeting, the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu spoke about his concern about the prolonged ASUU strike and the step Federal Government is taking to make sure the strike comes to an end.

In a Channels Tv Interview with a Former Vice Chancellor of Wesley University in Ondo state, Professor Tola Badejo. The Professor who’s now lecturing in the department of Zoology at Obafemi Awolowo University has queried the approach of the government in meeting the former Vice Chancellors of Universities. He alleged that these people have no power on the Asuu strike. He believes that if the Federal Government has a plan to end the strike, they should be negotiating with the ASUU executives.

He said, ”Did these people go on strike? Why is government talking to people who are even out of service? The government should take to us directly because ASUU is on strike.”
