During an interview with TVC News, Tunji Abdulhammed said that the southerner are angry that the PDP didn’t zone the presidency to the south, but the last president from the PDP was from the south. He said that if it is to be fair, then it should be the turn of the north to produce the presidential candidate in the PDP.
He also added that the crisis in the PDP will soon be resolved and they are working tirelessly to make sure the crisis is resolved in no time. He also said that Atiku has the right to pick whoever he wants as his running mate. He didn’t pick Wike as his running, that’s why Wike is angry with the PDP.
When he was asked about the promise the PDP made about zoning the presidency to the south, he said that the last president under the PDP was a southerner who happens to be the Former President Goodluck Jonathan.
So if it was to be judged like that, then it is the turn of the north to produce the presidential candidate, not the south again, Tunji Abdulhammed said.
