The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo has said has promised to sustain development of the aviation industry.
He also said the spirit of transparency, teamwork, and selflessness is what can result in the actualization of the mandate given to him by Mr. President for the Aviation Sector.
Keyamo stated this when he assumed duty in Abuja on Monday after the swearing in ceremony by Mr President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and pledged to base his activities in office on the principle of continuity on what has been achieved in the Aviation Sector and work towards improvement on the modus operandi.
“I am people oriented, and my aim is to satisfy people,” stated Keyamo
The Permanent Secretary, Dr. Emmanuel Meribole, while speaking on behalf of the Directors and staff of the Ministry, expressed happiness and preparedness of staff to work with the Minister.
‘‘We know you are here to continue the good work of Mr President as concern the aviation sector and we assure you of our commitment to make sure we delivered our mandate,” said Meribole.
The Union Chairman, Hector Nnadi, in his brief remark expressed optimism that the Minister, following his track records and being a youth, full of energy, will perform well as the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace.
