The Rotary Club of Abule-Egba metropolitan district 9110, Lagos has installed Ebenezer Adesola as the 12th imaginative president.
A statement said during the installation ceremony in Lagos which was attended by dignitaries from different sectors, Adesola, said it was normal for members of the district to expect more from him because his predecessors had raised the standard while in office.
“So I believe I should be able to do more than what they have done; I see this opportunity as a challenge and I am up to the task by the grace of God.”
He explained further that the club operated on a budget of N15m in 2021 and was already working on a budget of N20m.
According to him, the club was working on a number of things to actualise the goal.
The Chairman of Installation Committee who was one of the past president of the club, Mr Samuel Adenekan said, “The 12th president is here to achieve the goal of rotary which is to serve humanity.
“Abule-Egba has impacted its community to the fullest in the past and it’s still doing it. Our impact have been felt through so many projects which we have executed.”
