Earlier in the day, story had made the rounds concerning what Ex-governor Adams Oshiomhole said of Esan political leaders, as people who are more interested in their personal gains as against the overall interest of EsanLand and people.
In contrast, a rebuttal has come from an APC Chieftain Gen Cecil Esekhaigbe that former governor Adams Oshiomhole never said a thing of such and that, what went out, were figment of the writer’s imagination.

Oshiomhole has no enemies imaginary or real in Esanland. He married his first wife of blessed momory from Esanland and has done more for Esan more than any Governor since 1999. Those who are afraid of their sinking ship and their drift to political oblivion in Esanland are the architect of this fake story.
Oshiomhole has friends and political allies across Esanland and cannot make any derogatory comment against Esan people. Nobody can conquer Esanland as postulated by this faceless writer.
The strategic move by Esan people to play politics of inclusion and the attendant development has come to stay. Those who are afraid of this trajectory should know that no subterfuge and mischief will derail the train. Esan people have no enemies and Oshiomhole is not an enemy to Esan people. This fake concoction is too late for the imminent political apocalypse awaiting the writers.
