In a startling turn of events unfolding in Unguwar Sadauki, Jere Town, Kaduna State, a woman known only as Hauwa’u has reportedly fled after allegedly pouring scalding hot water on her co-wife, Bushra Ibrahim. The distressing incident unfolded late on Sunday, February 18, 2024, within their shared matrimonial home, just months after Bushra’s arrival as the second wife.

According to statements obtained exclusively by Trendy News, the altercation erupted over a disputed item, with tensions escalating rapidly between the two wives. Bushra recounted the events, explaining that the conflict began when Hauwa’u demanded access to her room to retrieve an item she claimed belonged to her. Despite attempts to defuse the situation, it culminated in a violent encounter, leaving Bushra severely injured after being scalded with hot water while innocently preparing a meal.

In the aftermath of the incident, the husband, Malam Ibrahim Mai Inyas, expressed his frustration, stating that all efforts to locate his first wife, Hauwa’u, who fled the area with their young son, had so far proved futile. As authorities intensify efforts to apprehend the fleeing suspect and restore stability to the household, the community remains on edge, underscoring the urgent need for interventions to address domestic tensions and ensure the safety of all involved.
